Peace Frequency Heads North to Baileys Harbor
The Peace Frequency Community, a Door County group gaining greater local following, is hosting “Peace in the Village,” an afternoon of music, reflection and a guided sound meditation. After a well-attended first event in Sturgeon Bay last December, their second public event, takes place on Sunday, March 5 at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall with unassigned seating available beginning at 12:30 PM and the event commencing at 1 PM. Everyone in the Door community is invited to share the experience of tuning-in to the frequency of peace. Bring a yoga mat, pillow and blanket, if desired.
Jane Sommers will open the event in song followed by Ame Thorson, who will greet and invite the participants to join in guided meditation. Prior to the meditation, Megan Lundahl will offer a reading of peace. Sound therapist, Christine Zimonick will create soothing and magical vibrations with the gong. The event will end with quiet, and participants will leave with the resonance of peace.
Dr. Joe Dispenza, researcher, chiropractor, lecturer and author, supports the notion that meditation is the new medicine. As one of the founding members of Peace Frequency, Ame Thorson explains, “When we go deep inside of ourselves and change a thought pattern, our whole biology changes and that is one way we can heal. When we all get into the frequency of our hearts we can change the vibration of our immediate surroundings as well as spread peace into the community and beyond.”
This event is Donation Based and is organized by the following Peace Pilgrims: Ame Thorson, Christine Zimonick, Alisa Landman, Jane Sommers, Beth Stracka, Megan Lundahl, and Dorothy Scott. Find out more about The Peace Frequency Community on Facebook at www.facebook.com/PeaceFrequency.
